There is an email containing a malicious attachment being sent to several businesses containing the subject line “stop spamming me”.  The email contains an attachment “email_message.doc” and features the following text:

 

“stop sending me offers from yourbusinessname.ie i am not interested.

i have attached the email i received from youremail@yourbusiness.ie.

please stop”

 

Please immediately delete this email, and do not attempt to open it, or the attachment within.If you think you may have opened it, please get in touch immediately and we will assist further.

As a general rule of thumb, do not open any email attachments that look suspicious.  Be vigilant!
